Day Trips
Authentic Vineyards • Arcachon Bay • Local Gastronomy
Discover two small-scale, carefully curated experiences designed for travellers who appreciate authenticity and a slower pace.
The “South Arcachon Bay Day” takes you to traditional oyster huts, where you may enjoy fresh oysters by the sea, share a refined French-style picnic in Arcachon and climb the majestic Dune of Pilat for sweeping views over the Atlantic coast.
The “Lalande-Pomerol Vineyards Day” invites you into the world of family-owned wine estates, between the Ambès Peninsula and the red soils of the Libournais, to meet dedicated winemakers and taste characterful wines shaped by their terroir.
These quiet, unhurried moments away from the crowds are often what travellers remember most fondly long after returning home.
These private excursions are limited to a maximum of four guests, ensuring comfort, thoughtful conversation and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. You will be travelling exclusively with your guide — never as part of a mixed group, with transport from your hotel or Airbnb, tastings, a traditional French-style picnic lunch and guided by a passionate Bordeaux-based guide who knows the region intimately.. There is no fixed itinerary: each day is gently shaped around your interests, your pace and your curiosity, offering a discreet and genuinely personal experience of South-West France.
